This ageing brick and concrete building on Harrington Street was totally reimagined with a renovation and extension by Wolf + Wolf Architects. Universal Plywood & Timbers was the timber partner for the Japanese Cedar cladding that gives the new addition its striking appeal.

Designed by Lisa Rorich Architects, this striking, contemporary build makes use of our Balau decking and screen cladding. The design perfectly shows off this premium hardwood, proving there’s no need to compromise between aesthetics and functionality.

This distinctive lifestyle and retail destination needed to incorporate unique architectural features that reflect the identity of the broader Waterfall City precinct. The standout feature? A custom Tongue & Groove Shiplap ceiling profile in Japanese cedar, with an organic knot pattern resembling mushroom caps as a nod to the development’s identity.
